2018 Control System

As part of our BionicFramework initiative, we have focused on a select few types of subsystems that are repeated throughout the years. All of the subsystems mentioned below will have code already written and can quickly be integrated.

However, that's not to say we cannot do more, please create an issue if you think there is something we could add.

Drivetrain:

• Andymark Chassis
• {ToughBox | EvoShifter w/ Single Solenoid}
• E4T Optical Encoders for Each Side of the Chassis
  • Wired via TalonSRX Breakout Board
• TalonSRX Motor Controller wired via CAN
• {4 | 6} CIMs for Drivetrain Motors
• PigeonIMU wired via SRX for Gyro

Velocity-based Motor Control:

• TalonSRX Motor Controller wired via CAN
• VP Gearbox w/ VP Encoder

Voltage-based Motor Motor Control:

• REVSpark Motor Controller wired via PWM

Non-continuous Rotational Motor Control:

• REVSpark Motor Controller wired via PWM
• Potentiometer wired to Rio
• Limit switches on both ends wired directly to motor controller in an NO circuit

Pneumatic Actuators

• {Single | Double} Solenoid wired to PCM

LED Strips

• Arduino R3 wired via I2C
• Adafruit Neopixels 1460 LED Strip
