This project contains the implementation of a 3D Ultrasound visualizer using Python, QT and VTK
This system has the basic user interface to assisst medical staff in the visualisation and analysis of 3D and 4D ultrasound images.
Implemented Tools:
- Open 3D and 4D images (DICOM, VOL, MHD)
- 4 Interactive Views: 2D sagital, 2D axial, 2D coronal, and 3D
- Interactive 3D Slicer for 2D visualization
- Ineractive tools for 3D rendering
The develop of this tool was made on Anaconda, so is not necessary but the easiest way to get an environment with all the libraries with its own versions.

NOTE: Use python 3.7 or below
Once you have installed Anaconda you should follow the next steps.
- Create a new environment (Python <= 3.7)
- Add a new channel: Conda-Forge
Using pip from terminal:
conda create --name NEW_ENV python==3.7
pip install pydicom==1.3.0
pip install pillow==7.0.0
pip install vtk
