This document provides a comprehensive list of all features, their descriptions, use cases, and how to use them.

Alignment

Align Bottom

Description/Use Case: Multi-select: aligns bottom edges to the anchor object. Single select: snaps bottom edge to the nearest horizontal guide line (or slide edge). Right-click for 'Move Until Object'.

How to Use:

Aligns the bottom edges of all selected shapes to the bottom edge of the first shape in the selection.

Align Center

Description/Use Case: Centers all selected objects horizontally relative to the anchor object's center point. With single selection, centers on slide.

How to Use:

Centers all selected shapes horizontally relative to the horizontal midpoint of the first shape.

Align Center Vertical

Description/Use Case: Centers objects vertically relative to the anchor object's center point. With single selection, centers vertically on slide.

How to Use:

Centers all selected shapes vertically relative to the vertical midpoint of the first shape.

Align Left

Description/Use Case: Multi-select: aligns left edges to the anchor object. Single select: snaps left edge to the nearest vertical guide line (or slide edge). Right-click for 'Move Until Object'.

How to Use:

Aligns the left edges of all selected shapes to the left edge of the first shape. Ideal for snapping columns into a clean left margin.

Align Right

Description/Use Case: Multi-select: aligns right edges to the anchor object. Single select: snaps right edge to the nearest vertical guide line (or slide edge). Right-click for 'Move Until Object'.

How to Use:

Aligns the right edges of all selected shapes to the right edge of the first shape.

Align Top

Description/Use Case: Multi-select: aligns top edges to the anchor object. Single select: snaps top edge to the nearest horizontal guide line (or slide edge). Right-click for 'Move Until Object'.

How to Use:

Aligns the top edges of all selected shapes to the top edge of the first shape.

Align to Cell

Description/Use Case: Opens dialog to align shapes to their containing table cell.

How to Use:

Aligns the selected shapes to be perfectly centered inside the underlying table cell directly beneath them. Detects the intersecting table automatically.

Arrange Grid

Description/Use Case: Arranges selected shapes in a grid layout.

How to Use:

Arranges all selected shapes into an evenly-spaced grid, calculating an optimal number of rows and columns based on the selection count.

Arrange Pro

Description/Use Case: Opens the Arrange Pro dialog for advanced shape arrangement options.

How to Use:

Advanced multi-axis arrangement tool combining alignment, distribution, and gap control in a single configurable operation.

Arrange in Shape

Description/Use Case: Arranges selected shapes in a circular, triangular, or other pattern.

How to Use:

Distributes selected shapes into a geometric pattern within their total bounding area. Right-Click Options:

  • Patterns: Choose between Circle, Triangle, Square, Star, Octagon, or Pentagon.
  • Pro Mode: Opens a dialog for fine-tuned control over radius, start angle, and auto-rotation towards center.

Diagonal Align

Description/Use Case: Aligns selected shapes in a diagonal line (e.g., 45 degrees). Use the right-click menu to choose specific angles.

How to Use: Select required shapes and execute the feature.

Distribute Horizontally

Description/Use Case: Distributes selected shapes evenly horizontally. Right-click to toggle between 'Align to Slide' or 'Align Selected Objects'.

Distribute Vertically

Description/Use Case: Distributes selected shapes evenly vertically. Right-click to toggle between 'Align to Slide' or 'Align Selected Objects'.

Match Height

Description/Use Case: Standardizes the height of all selected objects to match the anchor object.

How to Use:

Resizes all selected shapes to match the exact pixel height of the first shape, preserving width and position.

Match Size

Description/Use Case: Forces all selected objects to match the exact Width and Height of the anchor object.

How to Use:

Resizes all selected shapes to match the exact width AND height of the first shape simultaneously.

Match Width

Description/Use Case: Standardizes the width of all selected objects to match the anchor object.

How to Use:

Resizes all selected shapes to match the exact pixel width of the first shape, preserving height and position.

Stack Bottom

Description/Use Case: Moves selected shapes below the anchor shape, stacking them vertically.

How to Use:

Moves dependent shapes downward until their top edge touches the bottom edge of the master shape (zero gap docking).

Stack Left

Description/Use Case: Moves selected shapes to the left side of the anchor shape, stacking them horizontally without overlapping.

How to Use:

Moves dependent shapes leftward until their right edge touches the left edge of the master shape.

Stack Right

Description/Use Case: Moves selected shapes to the right side of the anchor shape, stacking them horizontally.

How to Use:

Moves dependent shapes rightward until their left edge touches the right edge of the master shape.

Stack Top

Description/Use Case: Moves selected shapes above the anchor shape, stacking them vertically.

How to Use:

Moves dependent shapes upward until their bottom edge touches the top edge of the master shape.

Stretch Bottom

Description/Use Case: Stretches the bottom edge of selected shapes to align with the bottom edge of the anchor.

How to Use:

Stretches dependent shapes downward until their bottom edge aligns with the bottom edge of the master shape.

Stretch Bottom Edge

Description/Use Case: Extends the bottom edge of selected shapes to meet the top edge of the anchor.

How to Use:

Stretches each selected shape's bottom edge to reach the top edge of the shape directly below it, removing the gap.

Stretch Left

Description/Use Case: Stretches the left edge of selected shapes to align with the left edge of the anchor.

How to Use:

Expands dependent shapes leftward to align their left edge with the master shape's left edge.

Stretch Left Edge

Description/Use Case: Extends the left edge of selected shapes to meet the right edge of the anchor.

How to Use:

Expands each shape's left edge to meet the right edge of the shape directly to its left.

Stretch Right

Description/Use Case: Stretches the right edge of selected shapes to align with the right edge of the anchor.

How to Use:

Expands dependent shapes rightward to align their right edge with the master shape's right edge.

Stretch Right Edge

Description/Use Case: Extends the right edge of selected shapes to meet the left edge of the anchor.

How to Use:

Expands each shape's right edge to meet the left edge of the shape directly to its right.

Stretch Top

Description/Use Case: Stretches the top edge of selected shapes to align with the top edge of the anchor.

How to Use:

Stretches dependent shapes upward until their top edge aligns with the top edge of the master shape.

Stretch Top Edge

Description/Use Case: Extends the top edge of selected shapes to meet the bottom edge of the anchor.

How to Use:

Stretches each selected shape's top edge to reach the bottom edge of the shape directly above it.

Swap Positions

Description/Use Case: Exchanges the X/Y coordinates of two selected shapes. Ideal for reorganization.

How to Use:

Swaps the positions of two or more selected shapes. If more than two are selected, they rotate positions sequentially. Right-Click Options:

  • Set the Rotation Anchor (e.g., Top Left, Center, Bottom Right) to determine which point of the shape stays consistent during the swap. The chosen anchor is saved as the new default behavior for the main button.

Charts

Chart Overlays

Description/Use Case: Calculates mathematical offsets over standard charts

How to Use:

This feature allows you to cast mathematical VSTO shapes directly over native PowerPoint charts without distorting the layout. Features Included:

  • CAGR Brackets & Deltas: Draws precise, colored growth indicators between two targeted data points.
  • Reference Lines: Averages your visible chart data to draw a statistical tracking line across your entire plot area.
  • Outlier Detection: Highlights data points extending beyond standard deviation boundaries with red ovals. Note: Automatically supports stacked column total aggregations.

Harvey Ball

Description/Use Case: Cycles through Harvey Ball states (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) to represent progress or qualitative data.

How to Use:

Inserts or updates a circular progress indicator (Harvey Ball). Usage:

  • Left-click to cycle through 0 -> 25 -> 50 -> 75 -> 100% fill. Right-Click Options:
  • Jump directly to a specific fill level (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%).

Progress Series

Description/Use Case: Inserts a progress series visualization with configurable shape type and layout.

How to Use:

Inserts a horizontal progress bar or segmented series bar with adjustable fill percentage. Ideal for KPI tracking slides and dashboards.

Star Rating

Description/Use Case: Inserts a sequence of stars representing a rating from 1 to 5. Default is 5 stars, 3 rating.

How to Use:

Inserts a customizable star rating indicator (1 to 5 stars, with half-star support) as a native PowerPoint vector group.

Thermometer

Description/Use Case: Inserts a thermometer visualization for project progress. Default is 50% fill.

How to Use:

Inserts or updates a vertical thermometer-style progress bar. Usage:

  • Left-click to cycle the fill level up by 25%. Right-Click Options:
  • Set the fill level exactly (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%).

Traffic Light

Description/Use Case: Inserts a traffic light infographic (red/yellow/green states). Default is Green state.

How to Use:

Inserts a 3-state traffic light indicator (Red / Yellow / Green) as a native shape group. Used for RAG status reporting.


Shapes

Bring Forward

Description/Use Case: Brings the selected shape forward one layer.

How to Use: Select required shapes and execute the feature.

Bring to Front

Description/Use Case: Brings the selected shape to the absolute front layer.

How to Use: Select required shapes and execute the feature.

Color Overlay

Description/Use Case: Combines two shapes into a single colored overlay geometry based on their intersection.

How to Use:

Select exactly two shapes. The bottom shape keeps its original color where it does not overlap, but takes the color of the top shape where they overlap. The resulting pieces are automatically grouped together.

Create Motion Path

Description/Use Case: Generates an automatic animation. The first selected shape will move precisely to the X/Y coordinates of the second selected shape.

How to Use:

Select exactly two shapes. This feature injects a PowerPoint animation path so the first shape automatically travels to the exact coordinates of the second shape when the slide is presented.

Match Shape Geometry

Description/Use Case: Transfers exact vertex angles, shaft thicknesses, and corner radii across similar shapes.

How to Use:

PowerPoint warps shapes when you resize them — arrowheads become too big, pentagon tips become inconsistent, and rounded corners look different depending on size. How it works: Select multiple shapes of the same type. The first shape in the selection is the Master. All other shapes will have their hidden Adjustments properties overwritten to match the Master's exact geometry — without changing their size or position. Supported shapes:

  • Block Arrows (normalizes shaft thickness and arrowhead size)
  • Chevrons & Pentagons (tip angle synchronization)
  • Rounded Rectangles (corner radius equalization)
  • Speech Bubbles / Callouts (tail width and angle)
  • Donut / Arc shapes (inner radius depth) Note: Shapes must be the same AutoShapeType. Mixing an Arrow with a Pentagon will be skipped automatically.

Optimize Free Form

Description/Use Case: Traverses the path vertices of hand-drawn/freeform shapes and removes mathematical outliers and redundant points to smooth the path globally.

How to Use:

Reduces the number of vertex nodes in a freehand vector path without visually distorting the shape. Useful for cleaning up imported SVGs or hand-drawn paths.

Send Backward

Description/Use Case: Sends the selected shape backward one layer.

How to Use: Select required shapes and execute the feature.

Send to Back

Description/Use Case: Sends the selected shape to the absolute back layer.

How to Use: Select required shapes and execute the feature.

Shape Transformation / Vertex Align

Description/Use Case: Reads the exact proportions (like shaft thickness vs. head width of a Block Arrow or Pentagon) of a Master shape and forces all other selected shapes to adopt identical vertex ratios.

How to Use:

Transfers vertex-level adjustment values (yellow diamond handles) from the first shape to all other selected shapes of the same type, normalizing arrowhead sizes, corner radii, and tip angles.

Smart Corners

Description/Use Case: Toggles rounded corners on selected rectangle shapes.

How to Use:

Applies a mathematically uniform corner radius to all selected shapes with a configurable slider. Works independently of the native Format Shape dialog.


Tables

Column Width

Description/Use Case: Copies column widths from the selected table.

How to Use:

Sets all columns in the selected table to a uniform width, evenly dividing the total table width across all columns.

Convert to Shapes

Description/Use Case: Converts a PowerPoint table into grouped rectangular shapes, preserving text and basic formatting.

How to Use:

Decomposes a native PowerPoint table into individually editable rectangle shapes and text boxes, one per cell, allowing independent animation and styling.

Convert to Table

Description/Use Case: Converts selected shapes into a PowerPoint table, arranging them into a grid based on their positions.

How to Use:

Converts a selection of aligned rectangle shapes into a native PowerPoint table, preserving fill colors, text content, and relative grid positions.

Insert Column

Description/Use Case: Inserts a new column into the table (left by default).

How to Use: Select required shapes and execute the feature.

Insert Column Left

Description/Use Case: Inserts a new column to the left of the selected column.

How to Use:

Inserts a new empty column immediately to the left of the currently selected table column, preserving all existing formatting.

Insert Column Right

Description/Use Case: Inserts a new column to the right of the selected column.

How to Use:

Inserts a new empty column immediately to the right of the currently selected table column.

Insert Row

Description/Use Case: Inserts a new row into the table (above by default).

How to Use: Select required shapes and execute the feature.

Insert Row Above

Description/Use Case: Inserts a new row above the selected row.

How to Use:

Inserts a new empty row directly above the currently selected table row.

Insert Row Below

Description/Use Case: Inserts a new row below the selected row.

How to Use:

Inserts a new empty row directly below the currently selected table row.

Row Height

Description/Use Case: Copies row heights from the selected table.

How to Use:

Sets all rows in the selected table to a uniform height, evenly distributing the total table height across all rows.

Sort A-Z

Description/Use Case: Sorts table rows in ascending order (A-Z) based on selected cell column.

How to Use:

Sorts the rows of the selected table alphabetically or numerically based on a chosen column, with ascending and descending support.

Split Table

Description/Use Case: Splits the table into two separate tables at the selected row or column.

How to Use:

Splits the selected table into two separate tables at the currently selected row. Upper and lower halves are repositioned automatically.

Table Branding

Description/Use Case: Save and apply table branding/styles. Opens dialog for style configuration.

How to Use:

Applies a predefined corporate color scheme to the selected table, including header row fill, alternating row shading, border colors, and font styles, in one click.

Table Dimensions

Description/Use Case: Copies all table dimensions (column widths and row heights).

How to Use:

Displays and allows direct numeric editing of the selected table's total width, height, column count, and row count.

Table Format Painter

Description/Use Case: Quickly paint background and text formatting from selected table cells to neighboring cells in specific directions (Up, Down, Left, Right).

How to Use:

Copies the fill color, font, and text alignment from one selected table cell and applies it to all other cells in a chosen direction.

Table Heatmap

Description/Use Case: Creates a heatmap based on the values. Opens option dialog.

How to Use:

Formats the selected table as a conditional color heatmap based on numeric cell values. Options:

  • Choose from 12 Excel-style color scale presets (e.g., Green-Yellow-Red, Blue-White-Red) or define a custom gradient.
  • Apply as a smooth gradient or as icon sets (arrows, circles, flags).
  • Optionally include or exclude the header row from the analysis range.

Table Sum

Description/Use Case: Calculates the sum of selected table cells.

How to Use:

Inserts the calculated sum of all numeric values in the selected table column or row into a configurable target cell.

Transpose Table

Description/Use Case: Transposes the table, swapping rows and columns.

How to Use:

Transposes the selected table, converting rows to columns and columns to rows, while preserving text content and formatting.


Text

Align Text

Description/Use Case: Adjusts the vertical and horizontal alignment of text within its container.

How to Use:

Adjusts the vertical and horizontal alignment of text within its container. Right-click to quickly set Top, Middle, or Bottom vertical alignment combined with Left, Center, or Right horizontal alignment.

Bold

Description/Use Case: Applies bold formatting to selected text.

How to Use:

Applies bold formatting to selected text. Use right-click to explicitly remove bold formatting.

Bulk Format Replacer

Description/Use Case: Batch replace fonts, sizes, and colors (Text, Fill, Line) across all selected slides.

How to Use:

Finds all text runs in the presentation matching a set of font and color criteria and replaces them with a new format in one batch operation.

Change Case

Description/Use Case: Changes the capitalization of selected text (Sentence case, lowercase, UPPERCASE, etc.).

How to Use:

Changes the capitalization of selected text. Use right-click to choose specific case types like Sentence case, lowercase, UPPERCASE, Capitalize Each Word, or tOGGLE cASE.

Character Spacing

Description/Use Case: Adjusts the space between characters in the selected text.

How to Use:

Adjusts the space between characters in the selected text. Choose from presets like Very Tight, Tight, Normal, Loose, or Very Loose.

Decrease Font Size

Description/Use Case: Decreases the font size of the selected text or shapes.

How to Use:

Decreases the font size of the selected text or shapes in increments.

Delete Text

Description/Use Case: Clears all text from selected shapes while preserving their formatting and structure.

How to Use:

Deletes all text from the selected shapes, or when used with a slide selection, clears all text from all shapes on the selected slides simultaneously.

Fit Form to Text

Description/Use Case: Adjusts the bounding box of the selected shapes to exactly fit the text string within, removing asymmetrical margins and empty whitespace.

How to Use:

Snaps the bounding box of the selected shape exactly to the dimensions of the contained text. Eliminates unwanted whitespace padding and ensures the shape tightly wraps its content.

Increase Font Size

Description/Use Case: Increases the font size of the selected text or shapes.

How to Use:

Increases the font size of the selected text or shapes in increments.

Insert Text

Description/Use Case: Inserts text at the current cursor position in the active text box.

How to Use:

Inserts a predefined text snippet at the current cursor position inside a text box.

Italic

Description/Use Case: Applies italic formatting to selected text.

How to Use:

Applies italic formatting to selected text. Use right-click to explicitly remove italic formatting.

New Slide

Description/Use Case: Inserts a new slide into the presentation using the current layout.

How to Use:

Inserts a new slide into the presentation using the current layout. Right-click to choose from available master slide layouts.

Number Formatter

Description/Use Case: Reformats numbers with configurable thousand/decimal separators and currency symbols.

How to Use:

Formats all numeric text in the selected shapes according to a configurable pattern, including decimal places, thousands separators, currency symbols, and percentage formatting.

Set Spell Check Language

Description/Use Case: Sets the proofing dictionary language globally across all slides and master slides. Essential for keeping spell checks clean.

How to Use:

Traverses every text range across all slides and forcefully sets the proofreading language to a single chosen locale, fixing mixed-language spell check issues from copy-pasting.

Split by Paragraphs

Description/Use Case: Splits a textbox into multiple shapes by paragraph, or merges multiple shapes into one.

How to Use:

Splits a multi-paragraph text box into individual separate text boxes, one per paragraph, while preserving font, size, and color of each line.

Strikethrough

Description/Use Case: Applies a line through the middle of the selected text.

How to Use:

Applies a line through the middle of the selected text. Useful for indicating deleted or invalid information.

Subscript

Description/Use Case: Formats selected text as subscript (smaller and below the line).

How to Use:

Formats selected text as subscript (smaller and below the line). Ideal for chemical formulas like H2O.

Superscript

Description/Use Case: Formats selected text as superscript (smaller and above the line).

How to Use:

Formats selected text as superscript (smaller and above the line). Essential for mathematical powers like E=mc2 or citations.

Swap Text (Formatted)

Description/Use Case: Swaps text between two selected shapes while preserving each shape's formatting.

How to Use:

Exchanges the text content between two selected text boxes while preserving the original formatting of each destination box.

Swap Text (Plain)

Description/Use Case: Swaps the plain text content between two selected shapes, ignoring formatting.

How to Use:

Exchanges the raw text string between two selected text boxes without carrying over any formatting.

Text Direction

Description/Use Case: Rotates the text direction (Horizontal, Vertical, Stacked, etc.) within the shape.

How to Use:

Rotates the text direction within the shape. Options include Horizontal, Rotate all text 90°, Rotate all text 270°, or Stacked.

Underline

Description/Use Case: Applies underline formatting to selected text.

How to Use:

Applies underline formatting to selected text. Use right-click to explicitly remove underline formatting.


Utilities

Agenda Wizard

Description/Use Case: Opens the Agenda Wizard for creating structured presentations.

How to Use:

Generates and manages a dynamic presentation agenda. Define sections, durations, and speakers in a grid. The wizard automatically creates separator slides, calculates time slots per chapter, and synchronizes slide reordering with physical slide moves.

Anonymize Text

Description/Use Case: Replaces all text in selected slides with Lorem Ipsum words, preserving word count.

How to Use:

Replaces all identifiable text across the presentation (names, emails, client references) with anonymized placeholder strings.

Cleaner

Description/Use Case: Cleans up presentations by removing hidden slides, animations, notes, and comments.

How to Use:

Performs a comprehensive cleanup of the presentation. Left-click to open the main cleanup dialog. Right-Click Options:

  • Remove Hidden Slides: Deletes all slides marked as hidden.
  • Remove Animations: Strip all animations (All Slides / Selected).
  • Remove Notes: Wipe Speaker or Developer notes.
  • Anonymize: Remove all personal metadata and author tags.

Copy XY-Coordinates

Description/Use Case: Grabs the exact top-left coordinates and size of the selected object. Use 'Paste XY' to apply them to another object.

How to Use:

Copies the exact X position, Y position, Width, and Height of the selected shape to an internal clipboard. Use Paste XY-Coordinates to apply these dimensions to other shapes.

Developer Notes

Description/Use Case: A developer scratchpad to save private notes, to-do lists, or snippets directly on the slide (hidden from the presentation).

How to Use: Select required shapes and execute the feature.

Dimension Lock

Description/Use Case: Locks or unlocks the dimensions (width and height) of selected shapes.

How to Use:

Prevents the width and height of selected shapes from being changed while allowing them to be moved. Right-Click Options:

  • Global Toggle: Apply or remove dimension locks for all shapes across the entire presentation.

Document Automation

Description/Use Case: Launch the Document Automation Wizard or Designer.

Excel Link Manager

Description/Use Case: Manage all Excel links with Split Screen and Relative Paths.

Manage your Excel links.

Flight Mode

Description/Use Case: Toggles flight mode to obscure sensitive content when presenting in public.

How to Use:

Disables all COM event listeners and UI state updates in the Add-in for maximum performance during intensive editing sessions. Re-enable to restore full functionality.

Format Shape Dialog

Description/Use Case: Opens the native PowerPoint 'Format Shape' pane to adjust fill, line, and effects.

How to Use:

Opens a consolidated formatting dialog combining fill, line, shadow, size, and position options in a single panel.

Hide / Show Master Objects

Description/Use Case: Toggles the visibility of Slide Master shapes and backgrounds on the currently selected slides.

How to Use:

Toggles the visibility of Slide Master background elements on the current slide, allowing full canvas access for precise positioning.

Hide Selected

Description/Use Case: Hides all currently selected shapes on the slide. Use 'Show Hidden' to make them visible again.

How to Use:

Temporarily hides selected shapes without deleting them. The shapes remain recoverable via the Show Hidden feature.

Lottery

Description/Use Case: Opens the lottery window for random winner selection.

How to Use:

Animates a random selection from a defined list of names or items, useful for team engagement exercises and random presenter selection.

Move to Backup

Description/Use Case: Moves the selected slides to the end of the presentation.

How to Use:

Moves selected slides behind the Backup slide.

Numeration

Description/Use Case: Inserts numbered shapes for marking and organizing content.

How to Use:

Automatically numbers all selected shapes sequentially by injecting or overwriting their text content with the configured prefix and number format.

Paste XY-Coordinates

Description/Use Case: Applies copied coordinates or size to the selected shape. Right-click for more options.

How to Use:

Applies geometric properties from the clipboard to the selection. Usage:

  1. Copy coordinates from a source shape using 'Copy XY'.
  2. Select target shapes.
  3. Click to paste both Position and Size. Right-Click Options:
  • Paste Coordinates: Apply X/Y position only.
  • Paste Size: Apply Width/Height only.

Property Extraction

Description/Use Case: Extracts and displays unique fonts, sizes, and colors used in the selected shapes or slide.

How to Use:

Extracts all formatting properties from the selected shape and displays them in a readable panel, useful for debugging or documenting style libraries.

QR Code

Description/Use Case: Generates a QR code from a URL or text. Opens a dialog to enter the QR code content.

How to Use:

Generates a QR code from a URL or text string and inserts it as a native PowerPoint image shape directly onto the current slide.

Save Agenda Layout

Description/Use Case: Saves the current agenda layout configuration.

How to Use:

Exports the current Agenda Wizard configuration (all sections, durations, speakers) as a portable file that can be reimported into any other presentation.

Select Same Type

Description/Use Case: Instantly selects all other objects on the slide that match the type of your current selection.

How to Use:

Selects all shapes on the current slide that share the same AutoShapeType or fill color as the currently selected shape, enabling bulk formatting.

Series Generator

Description/Use Case: Generates a sequence of numbers, letters, dates, or quarters based on a template shape.

How to Use: Select required shapes and execute the feature.

Shape Locking

Description/Use Case: Locks or unlocks all shapes in the presentation to prevent accidental edits.
