Strangely non-functional on Minecraft 1.21.11 w/ Fabric

What is the bug?

Reverb just doesn't seem to work at all. Seems like the only thing that does work is sounds getting quieter (and the direction that it sounds like they're coming from?) but any actual fun echoing is just gone. If I enable both sound physics remastered and sound physics perfected I get something that kinda works but I'm not sure they're intended to be run together.

1. Make profile via Curseforge
2. Install mod from Curseforge mod page

So I actually have a shite load of mods and I'm sure one of them might be the culprit (I ended up tossing the mod and just using the normal sound physics mod), though I do remember just trying this mod out on its own (or at least with a lot less mods) and noticed the same problem. I've tried disabling notenoughanimations, firstperson fabric, and ambientsounds, however nothing really changed.

most likely from what you're describing openAL isn't being enabled, causing reverb and permeation to not activate
I don't exactly have a solution for you as I don't know how that happens/how to fix
I'll look into it, but yeah. just use spr if that works for you

I see now, how does one enable OpenAL? Is it an automatic process? Ignore the fact that I accidentally closed this issue. It's not solved at all.

in terms of when you were running it by itself, refer to this issue as it had some issue with openAL

I really wish I could help but because there's not much for me to go off of, this is what i can do at best.
also a new version 1.16.0 released which fixed some major issues with sound permeation, so maybe that will help (though it wouldn't explain the reverb, this really does seem like an OpenAL issue)

also 1.16.1 fixed a goofy issue, so oopsy
