Summary

  • Added "Fork-as-Lab Workflow" section to CONTRIBUTING.md
  • Covers: staying current with upstream, branch strategy, label conventions, issue template usage, Linear sync flow, and upstream promotion
  • 167 lines total, 8 sections

Test plan

  • All sections render with proper headers
  • Commands and code blocks are syntactically correct
  • Links are valid relative paths

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Add branch strategy, label conventions, issue template usage, Linear sync
flow, and upstream promotion guide. Aligns with the fork pipeline shipped
2026-05-13 (sync-upstream.yml + linear-sync.yml).

Superseded by #29.

This PR remains a red historical branch: its Docs / links check failed. #29 carries the narrow fork-as-lab contributing repair with only the three docs-gate files and has passing remote Docs checks. Closing this PR as superseded, not as healthy or merge-ready.
