One obvious difference is that the browser extension sends a html/plain alternative where Android only Plain. That's ok - can keep it simple on Android for now.

Another, less obvious is that the attachment is so much longer on browser extension:

That is not so different. Maybe the "inner" mime message is differently constructed. But as far as functionality, it appears equivalent so looks good.

The only difference worth noting is the Old and New above, I'll file another issue.

The web version manages to make the quoted message more distinct, probably by using blockquote or similar, in html (unsure - you'd nee to check).

Android is somewhat less readable. It includes more info (which is good!) but doesn't have the visual distinction.

Again, this is good as is - and quoting can be improved in the future once we look into HTML on Android.
