Current Behavior

After submitting OTP for Firebase Authentication, an error displays as 'Error: The SMS code has expired. Please re-send the verification code to try again'.

Expected Behavior

After submitting the OTP code user login successfully and redirect to the home page.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Open the Application.
2. Click on the Welcome button.
3. Enter the mobile number followed by + and country code.
4. click on the Sign In button
5. enter the verification code
6. click on Confirm & Continue

Context

Whenever we log in using OTP verification, It is not working and affects most android devices. It does not allow the user to log in.

Additional info

We have checked the last issue submitted for Samsung devices only check here But we are facing the issue for most of the android devices.

Could you pls add reproducible steps on how you implemented OTP for Firebase authentication? This is incomplete information on such details :)

The above image is the actions on OTP verify button as stated in flutter-flow documentation. But this throws the error 'Error: The SMS code has expired. Please re-send the verification code to try again'.

This issue occurred frequently during login, so we added conditional actions on top of all actions on the OTP verification button. See the following image.

The first condition is isUserLogin. On many devices, it is true without calling the Auth action.
For now, it is working. But it is not suitable as how it can automatically login without Auth action execution.

So the issue is still present. We just bypassed it by using the above conditions. So solve the issue as early as possible.

Hi @Trupti-Sakpal - Can you please confirm, is this working in web run mode?. I just tested in web run mode and its works fine with no issues. As per phone sign in steps, you no need to add conditions to check user is logged-in or not.

Try to remove those login check condition steps and send the details how it works in web run mode.

Hi @Trupti-Sakpal - Addition to above test, I have tested it on android emulator as well (It should be find in real device as no change in login configurations). It is working perfectly fine. I think there could something wrong with the firebase/phone-sign in configurations at your end. I suggest, go through this doc and re check the configurations. - https://docs.flutterflow.io/data-and-backend/firebase/authentication/phone-sign-in#1.-setting-up-phone-sign-in.
