This will sort out the problem mentioned here

(the reason for why this is necessary is a bit cumbersome to explain and has to do with how the overall page variables are populated (at what time) vs at what time the
utils.jlis executed; this is fragile and not great and it's the reason why I've been working on a significant re-write of some of the core stuff like this which will be coming in the next big release for Franklin)
