VS freezes when Console project depends on Test project

I have added a simple Console App to my solution. It is located in “test” folder, and it has a dependency on UnitTests project.

Project icon for this project is constantly blinking between a regular C# icon, and test project icon.
When I try to build this project, VS freezes, until I force close it.

It does not reproduce with FCC disabled.

No, not really, first time in ~2 years :)
I've just added a test utility console app, where re-used some types from Integration Tests project. And, since it's non-prod code, I was too lazy too separate those types into a separate project.

Still, it took some time figuring out what caused this issue.

Well found.

FCC runs code when a project has TestContainer capability. A normal console app does not have this capability. By referencing the test project your console app has gained that capability.

The purpose of the code is to allow Microsoft.Testing.Platform under XUnit, NUnit and MsTest to work in FCC from the test explorer.

I could be specific and look for XUnit, NUnit, MsTest or provide an opt out project property as it does seem like yours is an edge case.

Gone for middle ground - checking for IsTestProject. Should suffice.
