Copying images from a big folder fails if you scroll too far while letting the images load

Steps to reproduce the bug

Pre-requisite: need a folder with at least 2000 files.

1. Open the folder
2. Swipe up to scroll down (letting thumbnails load)
3. Open an image / video
4. Copy it to a different folder

Result - it shows the "copying..." toast but never a "File completed successfully"

Expected behavior

It should copy the file

Actual behavior

It says it's copying the files but the task never completed and no warning of it failing is given

I couldn't reproduce it.

• Does the copied file still appear in the destination folder? If not in the Gallery, does it show up in a File Manager?
• Does this happen with every file if the folder contains more than ~2000 items, or only with some specific larger files?
• Did you close the app or exit the viewer after initiating copy?

• No, it doesn't appear in the destination folder.

• Nope, doesn't show up.

Does this happen with every file if the folder contains more than ~2000 items, or only with some specific larger files?

• I was only able to do this with folders with a large number of files. My folders have 3k to 7k files and it happens regularly in them. I have to restart the app or force stop it and then try again for it to work

• Nope, I wait for it to copy files

No, Fossify apps are missing logs. More testing or investigation is needed.

Have you checked the destination folder size before and after copying? There have been reports where a different file was copied/deleted/moved when performing such actions directly in the viewer.
