SIM select directly on Dialpad

Feature description

Currently the dialpad only has 1 call button. Then if we use dual SIM, it will display a pop up to select a SIM for that call.

To make things faster, please make this option appear directly on the dialpad page. Maybe like 2 call button, Call 1 and Call 2.

Why do you want this feature?

To make call faster with specific SIM, directly on the dialpad, without any pop up.

This feature has been removed some time ago, so I don't think it's going to be reintroduced - see: #50 (comment) and #344.

Hmm, looking at the mentioned issue, it's quite interesting that people who already set the preferred SIM card on Android settings still want to use this dual call button, or even want to switch position so the bigger button is their preferred one, and the extra button is the secondary one.

But, what do you think if we only display these 2 buttons in case there are no default SIM set (instead of pop-up)? If user already set their preferred SIM card, just let single button displayed as it is.

Simple Phone was the only app Android which allowed us to have default Sim card set for most of the calls and had a button for the exceptions. If people want to use the default behavior they can just use the default dialer...
