For awareness, my Laptop 13 with a Gen 12 Mainboard intermittently drops power, usually while plugged in (80%) and in Connected Standby, but at least a couple of times while actively being used. Many other reports of this problem have been reported in the forums (links below), so I don't believe this is an isolated case.
I worked with Framework support for about a year to try and isolate and resolve this issue. They replaced the Gen 12 Mainboard once during this time, and escalated this issue to Engineering several times, but the issue was never resolved.
This fault is recorded as ID 41 in the event log and the Microsoft documentation points back to the hardware manufacturer for the particular failure scenario I've been experiencing.
Unfortunately, there is no repro case (other than wait hours / days / weeks / months) for the same error.
My Windows 11 is currently at the latest 25H2 build with all updates applied and current Framework BIOS 3.19 as-of the date of this issue, as well as the latest Intel driver updates. The problem has followed multiple Windows updates across both Gen 12 Mainboards and several driver bundle / BIOS updates, although the frequency of occurrence seems to have gotten significantly longer over the last BIOS or two.
More details in the most recent reply to me in the forums in a topic labeled "Laptop reboots instead of waking from sleep" prompted this report, and scroll up for other replies to me and others having the same problem.
I also referenced this thread from another (much longer) thread containing complaints of similar behavior from other users starting as early as Oct 2022. Note many Event Logs and Sleep Studies were sent to Framework Support over the time I attempted to get this resolved.
