Experiencing an error while trying to import kindle lookups to anki

Describe the bug
When I try to add my kindle lookups to anki I get an error saying, "Exception: [cannot create note because it is a duplicate].

I know others had an issue with this problem previously and the fix was to update to v0.12.4, but even after reinstalling, the issue persists. Is there something about the fix that I'm missing? Any help solving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Based on looking at logs from a user on Discord, I suspect this is a bug related to AnkiConnect where it reports it can add notes, but then gives an error when we actually try to do it. I'll try to reproduce it later to send a report there. In the mean time, if you really want to get it to work now, try to downgrade AnkiConnect to something before November of last year.

This is a copy from the discussions thread: #182

If the first field of the note in Anki is a similar (sentence or word) to any another note during the import process, Anki will reject the card. It doesn't seem possible to force it through unfortunately in Vocabsieve.

I haven't found any way to completely fix the issue, other than managing the duplicates in the kindle or Anki manually.

What kind of worked for me was ensuring that the susceptible field for the note is based on words or sentences that are not likely to be repeated. I also manually deleted vocab builder words on my kindle that have multiples usages.
