Problem
Tabby's ghost-text autocomplete interferes with terminal applications, which have their own built-in completion, command history, and shell integrations. Showing inline suggestions in terminals creates UX friction rather than helping the user.
Solution
Add a built-in blocklist of known terminal application bundle IDs so Tabby automatically stays out of the way when a terminal is focused. This is separate from the user-configured disabled apps list — it's a product-level decision that terminals are not a good surface for ghost-text autocomplete.
Covered terminals: Apple Terminal, iTerm2, Kitty, Alacritty, Hyper, Ghostty, Warp, WezTerm, Rio.
