[Bug] Length of cotabby generation doesn't seem to follow setting

Summary

I have length set to 3 to 7 words, and it's generating 12. I also have multi-line off, and it seems to even go multi-line. So I'm just not sure if it's fully obeying those settings.

Environment

• macOS version: 26.5 (25F71)
• Host app: Google Chrome & ALL
• Cotabby engine: Open Source
• Model name (if Open Source): Tabby-1-fast
• Accessibility permission granted: yes
• Input Monitoring permission granted: yes
• Screen Recording permission granted: yes

Steps to reproduce

1. set length to 3-7 words
2. cotabby generates more than 7+ words

Expected behavior

Should obey the setting

Actual behavior

Seems to generate as many as it wants / can.
