Releases: GB-Link/GBLink-Firmware
Launcher integration, custom LED colors & easier updates
New launcher available for config and updating directly from the browser at https://launcher.gblink.io
- Settings persist across power-offs — your LED colors and preferences are now stored on the adapter
- In-browser firmware updates — update directly from the launcher; no more holding BOOTSEL from this version on.
- More reliable mode switching — the adapter now switches cleanly between games/tools that need different modes requiring less reboots
New script available for managing Linux permissions to allow WebUSB connections.
WebSerial Support
Adds WebSerial support for browsers that support webSerial but do not support webUSB. No changes needed for WebUSB clients.
Notably this allows for support with Firefox 151+ on desktop.
v2.1.1 fixes printer emulation over serial.
Add GBC/GBA cable type detection
For compatible boards adds the ability to use GBC or GBA link cables for use in GBA games. Must be generic GBC cables for this to work as they include pins missing in OEM GBC cables. Detects cable type when mode is sent from web client.
GB/GBC games have no change.
GBA Passthrough mode
Added GBA Passthrough mode (experimental)
Lower USB latency
Lower USB round trip latency. Greatly reduces time sending multiboot files.
GBLink Unified Firmware
This firmware adds the capabilities of the GBLink Reconfigurable firmware to the Celio firmware to help users avoid needing to swap between firmware versions.
LED status indicators on supported hardware. (Pico Zero and Solderless boards)
