Description
Eventlet is problematical for us at this point. It's not well supported and it seems to actually be preventing our upgrade to python 3.13 due to its monkey-patching of SSL. Gevent is a drop in replacement for eventlet and is supposedly more aligned with the latest and greatest stuff going on in python. There is a reasonable likelihood that our certificate problems will go away with gevent.
