Managing Conversations

This guide covers how to manage your conversation history in GT AI OS.

Conversation History

Finding Past Conversations

Your conversation history appears in the sidebar. Use the filter dropdown to switch between time periods:

• All: View all conversations
• Today: Recent conversations from today
• This Week: Conversations from the past 7 days
• This Month: Conversations from the past 30 days

Searching Conversations

Use the search bar in the conversation history to find past conversations by conversation title.

Tip: Give important conversations descriptive names to make them easier to find later.

Conversation Details

Each conversation shows:

• The agent you were chatting with
• When the conversation was last active
• Message count

Continuing Conversations

To resume a previous conversation:

1. Click on the conversation in the sidebar
2. The full history loads in the main area
3. Continue chatting where you left off

Starting New Conversations

To start a fresh conversation:

1. Click New Chat in the top right of the chat header to start fresh with the same agent
2. Or click the Bot icon to go to the Agents page and select a different agent

Note: Starting a new conversation creates a separate thread. Your previous conversations remain accessible in the history.

Conversation Organization

Renaming Conversations

1. Hover over a conversation in the sidebar
2. Click the More (⋮) menu that appears
3. Select Rename
4. Enter a new name
5. Press Enter to save

Deleting Conversations

1. Hover over a conversation in the sidebar
2. Click the More (⋮) menu that appears
3. Select Delete
4. Confirm the action

Note: Deleted conversations are removed from your view but retained for audit purposes.

Best Practices

• Use descriptive names for important conversations
• Delete conversations you no longer need
• Start new conversations for new topics
• Use search to quickly find past discussions by title
