[UT99] console log files are empty

The UT99 server i run with your server manager produces an empty console log file.
If i start the UT console with ./ut99server console i can see the console like it should be in the log.
Log file remains empty after restart. Just a new (empty) log file is created.

The same has happened to me before on other scripts, always assumed that it was a system error.

When you restart the server the log file rotates. There will be many files located in /home/ut99server/log/console

with a timestamp. The log files will only rotate if you start the server.

Unless you are saying that the ut99-server-console.log is empty all the time

All the log files in that folder are completely empty

Sounds a little broken to me. All my scripts I have tested work currently. I will have to try and replicate.

Can you give me the output of debug before you press yes.

e.g

Hey, Sorry it took a while. I have tested ut99server console log and am unable to replicate the issue. There have been a few updates to the script since you posted this. So I recommend updating the script and see if that helps.

I will close for now however please re-open if needed.

Also recently discovered this issue. But this shouldnt be a problem with your distro
