This page tracks work in progress and open to-do items. Issues that are already fixed live on the Troubleshooting or Known Issues section of the guide they belong to instead, so this page does not go stale with old wins. Cross-cutting issues that are not yet fixed live on General-Known-Issues.

• [ 🟨 ] Vector pen preview lines (thanks Søren for reporting). AffinityPluginLoader's WineFix already ships a patched d2d1.dll that fixes inaccurate vector pen preview lines. Not yet folded into an official guide step on this wiki.
• [ 🟨 ] Studiolink working.
• [ 🟨 ] Affinity's own custom maximize button computes an undersized window. Separate from the KDE Plasma Wayland maximize bug on General-Known-Issues, this one is Affinity's own maximize behaviour, not a Wine/compositor bug. Workaround: manually drag the window to the screen edges once per session. No fix attempted yet, flagged as a candidate for a future WineFix- or LoginFix-style plugin patch.

Not Started

• [ ❌ ] OpenCL for AMD/Intel GPUs (waiting on ElementalWarrior Wine).
• [ ❌ ] "Executable file does not exist" warning in Lutris, shown even when the file genuinely exists at that exact path (confirmed with ls). Flatpak filesystem permissions were checked and ruled out (filesystems=home was already granted). Not root-caused. Does not block the app from actually launching or working.

• [ ✅ ] Canva sign-in crash, thanks XDan for reporting. Fixed by the community LoginFix plugin.
• [ ✅ ] Local downloads hosted for ElementalWarrior and TKG Wine builds.
• [ ✅ ] WinMetadata/Windows.winmd setup sorted out (Issue #6).
• [ ✅ ] Crashes on save/export fixed.
• [ ✅ ] Flatpak-related font issue fixed.
• [ ✅ ] Settings-not-saving workaround documented, see Settings-Not-Saving-Fix.
• [ ✅ ] Updated Wine build using the latest Wine version, thanks Wanesty.
• [ ✅ ] Heroic and Lutris screen flashing/flicker, caused by DXVK/VKD3D stacking on top of the renderer=vulkan winetricks setting, fixed by disabling DXVK/DXVK-NVAPI/VKD3D auto-install for the game. See Install-Guide-Heroic and Install-Guide-Lutris.
• [ ✅ ] Bottles' Flatpak-sandboxed font installer failing and causing a WPF text-layout crash, worked around with a manual font install. See Install-Guide-Bottles.
