Support
Support for PandaWorks AutoLoot is handled through the PandaWorks Discord.
Discord is the main place for:
- Bug reports
- Testing feedback
- Install help
- Configuration questions
- Compatibility discussion
- General PWAL discussion

Check the wiki first.
At minimum, read:
- Getting Started
- Installation
- Quick Start
- Core Concepts
- Terminal Menus
- Destinations
- Loot Categories
- Troubleshooting
If the answer is already in the wiki, you may be pointed back to the wiki.
That is not rudeness.
That is the documentation doing its job.
If you are reporting a bug, include useful information.
Good bug reports help fix problems.
Bad bug reports waste time and summon the void.
Include:
- PWAL version
- Starfield version
- Mod manager used
- Whether the plugin is enabled
- Whether scripts installed correctly
- What you expected to happen
- What actually happened
- Where you were in-game
- Which loot category was involved
- Which destination was selected
- Whether looting was enabled
- Whether the issue repeats
- Any useful log output
If you are reporting a routing issue, include the exact item name and where you expected it to go.
Do not post things like:
- “It does not work.”
- “Looting broken.”
- “My stuff disappeared.”
- “Fix this.”
- “Your mod ate my save.”
Those are not useful reports.
They do not explain what happened, what settings were used, what item was involved, or what the game state was.
The panda cannot debug a scream.
Good report:
“PWAL v1.0.0-alpha. Looting enabled. Junk category enabled. Junk destination set to PandaWorks Inventory. Tested in New Atlantis. Loose junk nearby did not move. PandaWorks Inventory checked. Other categories worked. Issue repeated after reload.”
That gives enough information to start investigating.
If you need install help, say how you installed the mod.
Include:
- Vortex, MO2, or manual install
- Whether the plugin is enabled
- Whether the terminal appears in the Weapons section
- Whether the Utility Device appears
- Whether other mods are installed
- Whether this is a new save or existing save
If the main terminal does not appear, say that first.
If the terminal appears but looting does not work, say that instead.
Those are different problems.
If PWAL is not looting what you expect, check your settings before asking for help.
Check:
- Looting is enabled.
- The category is enabled.
- The item is in range.
- The location is allowed.
- The destination is configured.
- The item is not forced to a specific destination.
- The item did not route somewhere else.
PWAL routes loot.
That means items may go to PandaWorks Inventory, Ship Cargo, Lodge Safe, or another supported destination instead of the player.
Check the destination before calling it missing.
If you think another mod is causing a problem, include:
- The other mod name
- Load order information
- What PWAL setting was involved
- What item or container was involved
- Whether the issue happens without that mod
- Whether the other mod changes items, containers, leveled lists, scripts, inventory, ship cargo, or UI
Compatibility reports without details are just spooky campfire stories.
Logs are useful for real bug reports.
If logging is enabled and something goes wrong, include the relevant section.
Do not paste an entire galaxy of log spam unless asked.
Find the part where the issue happens and include that.
PWAL is currently an alpha release.
That means:
- Some features may still be rough.
- Some behavior may change.
- Some menus may be adjusted.
- Some routing rules may be refined.
- Some bugs are expected.
Alpha does not mean broken.
Alpha means testing is active and feedback matters.
Keep support useful.
- Be specific.
- Be patient.
- Read the wiki first.
- Do not spam the same issue repeatedly.
- Do not report forced routing rules as bugs.
- Do not report disabled categories as broken.
- Do not report missing loot until you checked all destinations.
- Do not expect support for broken manual installs with half the files missing.
The panda helps those who bring usable information.
