v1.0.1 - Save Fix & System Stability
Kurippugal v1.0.1 - Core Stability Patch
This first patch tackles the two biggest critical bugs reported: files refusing to save to the hard drive, and the app refusing to close properly.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed File Saving: Resolved a background permission block. Kurippugal now successfully saves your files to your drive without failing silently.
- Instant App Exit: Hitting exit now instantly and reliably closes the app every time.

The Idea
I built this because I wanted a personal workspace that actually feels interesting to sit in. Most text editors are just blank white screens, which gets boring. I wanted something heavily inspired by old-school sci-fi interfaces and games like NieR—a place where you can just put on some music, look at a well-designed UI, and focus on writing.
What it is (and what the point is)
At its core, Kurippugal is a straightforward text editor wrapped in a highly customized environment. The point of this application isn't to be a complicated productivity tool; it's just meant to be an atmospheric, distraction-free space to keep your notes, drafts, or thoughts.
Installation
Everything is packaged into a single installer. It works right out of the box.
- Download the
kurippugal-editor_1.0.0_x64-setup.exefile from the Assets section below. - Double-click to install it.
- Open the app and start writing.
(Note: Because this is an independent release and not signed by a major corporation, Windows SmartScreen might flag the installer the first time you run it. Just click "More info" and "Run anyway".)
