🚀 Kiso 0.2.1 is now available, now with MCP Server

[straumat]

This release introduces a major new capability: an MCP server for Open Knowledge Format knowledge bases. Until now, Kiso focused primarily on publishing OKF bundles as static websites that humans could browse and AI systems could consume as structured content.

With Kiso 0.2.1, an AI agent can now connect directly to a Kiso knowledge base through the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

The new Kiso MCP server allows an AI assistant or agent to:

• Search across the concepts contained in an OKF knowledge bundle.
• Retrieve and inspect individual concepts.
• Use the knowledge base directly as contextual information when answering questions or performing tasks.
