Was working perfectly fine for awhile, then randomly every time I attempt to download something i get the exact same error message "LatelnitializationError: Field '_client@682157683' has not been initialized." have no idea whats going wrong.

Same problem here. I completely uninstalled the app and reinstalled it but the problem still persists. BTW, I use the latest v1.7.0 dmg from gopeed.com on MacOS 15.4.

Found the reason. I downloaded it from https://gopeed.com/zh-CN, which will CAN detect that my system is MacOS but the download link points to amd64 version by default. By installing the arm64 version from Github, the bug is solved.

Yes, I also found this issue, seems like CPU architecture detect is not work on macos, I'll try fix this.
