Describe the Crash
In certain circumstances, values it "can't handle" crash it.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Open the Graphite editor at https://editor.graphite.art
2. Open the attached document (after unzipping) stars_23x.graphite.zip
3. Go to Node Graph
4. Select Offset Path
5. Change Distance to 100

Additional Details
I tried in the flatpak for RC3 and it did not crash. Not sure if it's a transient bug or related to being in a browser.

Browser and OS
Firefox 147, Unix
also in Brave 1.81.171 (Chromium 144.7559.59)

@ScislaC I’m able to reproduce this crash on https://editor.graphite.art/ .
However for me the same steps work without any issues on https://dev.graphite.art/ .
