Is there a way to prevent the reframwork.net debug window from showing up? If you're using gamescope to enable hdr, it can take over the screen and there's no native way that I know to switch the top layer window. |

Linux setup guide to get YURI working
Seems to be working on linux with no issues, just need to follow the steps given
Making this just in case someone doesn't know how to make wilds work, how to make reframework work, or how to install dependencies on a wine prefix
Not gonna teach how to setup fluffy manager in detail but it's really simple with bottles
Making MH:Wilds not crash or glitch as often (NVidia only)
I recommend the following env vars in case you have problems opening wilds, and use "Proton Hotfix", using experimental can make denuvo kick you out of the game for 24h since it updates quite often and every prefix change counts like a new pc for the DRM
VKD3D_DISABLE_EXTENSIONS=VK_NV_low_latency2is used to prevent crashesPROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=1is used to prevent graphical glitchesThe rest is to avoid recompiling shaders on every launch (not always needed)
We can still use FSR and FrameGen to get somewhat decent performance
The next section explains how to set these in case you don't know
Making REFramework work
First download reframework, I recommend nightly for the time being since the game just released but in a couple of months we should prob change to stable
Extract the file dinput8.dll (only this file) on the root directory of MH:Wilds installation (on steam, right click -> Manage -> Browse local files)
Then go to steam and open the properties of MH:Wilds, on launch options use the following:
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8=n,b" %command%You can add more env vars here in the same way, for example using mangohud and gamemode
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8=n,b" MANGOHUD=1 gamemoderun %command%Installing dependencies on a wineprefix
The easiest way is to use "Protontricks"
