API should expose openECA MetaData to non-streaming clients

It would be super handy in the case of a Network Model Editor for the API to expose MetaData (bulk MetaData i.e. No InputMapping) for non-streaming clients like the Network Model Editor. Don't necessarily need a project stub for this. Could just add appropriate reference with Code Snippet or something like this. Perhaps this already exists to a degree?
The use case is to do phasor mapping to the network model.
