How is it useful/related? Image analysis is required to distort the images, in order to understand how to curate the art, the bots will be required to understand what makes up the image. Because of the abstract nature of both the deep dream style and the AI art creations, there is a tangible connection. Though deepdream relies on the distortion of existing images, it is ultimately up to the program on how to distort them, much in the same way that the agents create.
