Errors during KlipperScreen install

Hello,

Several days ago there was a power outage. My FLSun v400 was powered on, but not printing. Once power came back up Mainsail and a few others were displayed as corrupted. I clicked to fix them, then also updated everything. Once all the updates were complete, I started getting many errors, I figured something was really broke, so decided to start from scratch.

I have followed the guide twice, and continue to get the following errors (see screenshots). I don't know how to fix them or if I can ignore them and continue on. I did not get these errors when I initially upgraded the machine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It sat stuck on 94% for quite a while. Penguins came up on the screen and when I moved the mouse the error below popped up. Now the speeder pad will not boot and I can not SSH into it. I'm assuming I have to start over again?

I am on the, 'Install Official Build (1 instance)' step now. I have to take a pause until later this evening. Just to verify, I replace this command: ./KlipperScreen/scripts/KlipperScreen-install-fix.sh with this: ./KlipperScreen/scripts/KlipperScreen-install.sh

I would, but I can't. When it errors out like that I lose contact with the SpeederPad.

At this point, is it possible to revert back to factory 1.4 firmware? I'm not certain how to re-flash the main board.

I have fixed building environnement issue but now network manager is needed and impossible to install it without pad is stuck and lost connexion.

Salut Ciryl merci d'avoir bossé dessus aussi vite dis-moi par curiosité alors c'était bien la version de python le problème....
J'attends ton top départ pour tester l'installation au complet...
Pour info je l'avais mis sur discord mets ton wiki marche parfaitement aussi pour le BTT 7 Pad.... Avec juste deux trois variantes bien sûr sur le fichier de restauration et sur la suppression d u klipper d'origine...😁

J'ai réussi à installer network-manager sans plantage, je termine mes tests.

J'ai une erreur également lors de l'installation de klipperscreen.
Je met deux capture des erreurs ci-dessous.
Il est noté à la fin : "Unable to install dependencies, aborting install."
J'ai recommencer plusieurs fois en bien respectant toutes les étapes, mais ça ne marche pas.
Il y a peut être quelque chose que je fait mal.
Comment résoudre le problème?

Effectivement tu as la même erreur qu'on a tous cyril est en train de travailler dessus c'est notre maître Jedi... Il nous fera signe dès qu'il aura fini la résolution du problème....
Pour le moment il n'y a pas de contournement car même le script officiel de klipper screen plante à 94 % de l'installation certainement les mêmes erreurs de dépendance mais sans les messages d'erreur et surtout avec un speeder pad complètement buggé où on a plus accès au SSH du coup il faut tout réinstaller depuis le début donc un conseil attends que Cyril est résolu son script sinon tu devras tout recommencer....

It’s impossible you have the same error, with python 3.10, libmpv 0.5.2 is installed and not 1.0.6.

I finished the install last night, everything worked. Rebooted several times everything works. Started printer this morning everything works except I have no connectivity. Network screen says connected with an ip of 10.1.1.49 but no mainsail, putty or ping at that ip address. Turn wi-fi off and go to main screen. Return to network screen and turn the wi-fi back on and now I have connectivity. I am in a wheelchair and my printers are at the other end of the house. It would be nice if the printer would have connectivity on power up. Thanks

Bon j’ai retenté aujourd’hui, j’ai cru avoir un éclair de génie en désactivant le smart wifi et en repassant ma box en wifi 4 au lieu de 6. Je me disait que le problème pouvait venir de la, mais de toute évidence non…
J’abandonne donc pour l’instant, quand on est pas assez calé dans un domaine il faut bien savoir se l’avouer 🤷‍♀️

Alors en bonne tête de mule j’ai réessayé en me connectant via un extendeur ( un truc tout pourri qui a une connexion indépendante) et miracle ! Ça a fonctionné ! J’ai donc pu rentrer la suite et fin du programme jusqu’au bout !!!
Donc si ça peut aider d’autre personnes qui ont le même soucis, je pense qu’il doit y avoir une sécurité quelconque sur ma box (SFR 8)

Comme je dis dans mon message je n’ai pas trouvé d’où ça venait, j’ai juste réussi à contourner le problème en me connectant avec un extender. Je te met une photo de celui que j’ai, c’est vraiment pas un truc ouf, et pour une utilisation normale il est plutôt relou. En gros tu dois le connecter à ta box et lui crée un nouveau réseau wifi (donc un nouveau ssid). Mais du coup c’est ce qui m’a permis de me connecter à mon réseau wifi sans passer réellement par ma box qui foutait le bordel.

Je ne sais pas si j’ai été très claire, comme je disais je ne suis pas du tout calée, donc je tâtonne, je teste des trucs sans réellement savoir ce que je fait, des fois ça fonctionne 😅

Impossible de me reconnecter à ma box alors qu'après la remise à zéro la première connexion fonctionne parfaitement.
J'ai testé en partageant la connexion de mon téléphone et avec une clé 4g et sa se connecte et sa se connecte du premier coup mais des que je redémarre le speeder pad plus rien

Si tu as deja tout installé et que tu as un acces ssh alors oui tu peux supprimer manuellement les dossiers klipperscreen et son environnement et le réinstaller

Salut ça y est j'ai tout réinstaller.... J'ai préféré j'ai vu que tu avais fait quelques mises à jour sur les différents scripts dans la nuit.....
J'en suis rendu mes deux imprimantes v400 et SR sont connectés comme il faut.... Root activé... Je fais une pause il faut que j'avance aussi dans mes travaux 🫣🫣....
Après je me lancerai dans l'installation de TMC autotune c'est la seule chose que j'ai encore pas testé par rapport à mon installation fonctionnelle précédente.... Mais si je lance tout de suite et que ça marche pas je vais pas pouvoir m'empêcher d'y gratter et je vais perdre du temps sur les travaux....

Tu dois dans cet ordre:

• Lancer le script 1 qui met à jour les dépendances
• Reboot
• Installer network-manager comme indiqué ici : Update Dependencies car si tu l'installe lors de l'installation de Klipper Screen cela va freezer.
• Lancer le script 2 qui met à jour python, pip et installe kiauh
• Ne surtout pas reboot sinon effectivement tu auras un écran noir
• Supprimer les builds flsun
• Installer les nouvelles en veillant bien à ne pas faire Yes lors de l'installation de KlipperScreen.

toujours le même soucie je sent qu'elle va prendre un coup de masse. je ne peux pas allez plus loin que l'installation de network-manager car lorsque je veux me reconnecter sa m'es tout bonnement impossible

Salut Cyril dis-moi mauvaise idée ou bonne idée pourrait-on tu penses faire une image de restauration de notre pad une fois toute l'installation terminée mais avant toute la partie calibration....
Qu'on pourrait utiliser par la suite avec raspberry imager ???

Vu la galère à installer la nouvelle version, je me posais la même question. Je ne sais pas si je vais avoir le temps de regarder (surtout que c'est super relou de tout réinstaller je ne peux pas utiliser l'imprimante pendant ce temps là.
Mais le mois prochain, je vais regarder si je peux faire une image, et aussi regarde le code de Cyril, car c'est sur qu'on peut simplifier le processus d'installation.

Thank you @Guilouz for all the hard work you put it! I just went through the process on my flsun v400 and I am so close but stuck trying to finish the install. It appears that I am having issues getting the klipperscreen to install correctly. When installing, this is the error message that I get. I am able to connect to the device via octoprint and also with MobaXterm. But the klipper screen on the speeder pad gets stuck on the boot screen.

Any suggestions on how to get the klipperscreen to install correctly?

I did a check to get info on the klipperscreen service and the "vendor preset: enabled" caught mmy eye, did i mess up uninstalling the stock klipperscreen?

If you run into the bdist_wheel error: Open ~/KlipperScreen/scripts/KlipperScreen-install.sh in your favourite editor. Find the line that says pip --disable-pip-version-check install -r ${KSPATH}/scripts/KlipperScreen-requirements.txt (around line 140), add pip install wheel above it. Rerun the script. And no, adding wheel to the requirements doesn't do it.
