Before proceeding or doing anything take a look at the disclaimer so that you get to know what possibly can happen.
This kernel is based on two sources offical CM sources and stock Xiaomi sources, so the compatibility of the kernel will be with the ROMs using these sources. This kernel is not comatible with MIUI based on MM!! so don't waste your time asking about it!
- Wipe Cache in recovery
- Flash zip file in recovery
