Pre-release build of FDX Writer. This replaces the earlier v0.1.0 with a batch of editor improvements.

What's new

  • Rich-text bold / italic / underline that holds while typing a sentence and while backspacing
  • Character autocomplete ordered by most-recently-used; picking a name jumps straight to its dialogue
  • Resumes where you left off when you reopen a script
  • Optional approximate page-break markers (toggle in Settings)
  • Page-count estimate tuned to match Final Draft
  • Auto-scroll while typing; the scrollbar fades while the keyboard is open
  • Larger, aligned undo/redo; sentence auto-capitalization
  • Fixes: auto-save no longer shows a false "file changed on disk" prompt; added a Reload confirmation; assorted layout polish

Install
Android 7.0+ (API 24). Enable "install unknown apps" for your browser or file manager, then open the APK.

Not affiliated with Final Draft, Inc. "FDX" refers to the screenplay file format.
