TL;DR: The X account VibeTrading_HKU, Virtuals project 101845, and token contract 0x640BDBF77b6447E8b7DB7894cED84BD1c40571f4 were not created, authorized, or endorsed by the official Vibe-Trading project. No official HKUDS channel has announced or endorsed them.

What happened

An X account using the Vibe-Trading name promoted Virtuals project 101845 and the token contract above. The account and listing reused the Vibe-Trading name, official links, and project description without authorization.

Copied project text or links to our official repository do not prove affiliation.

Our position

Vibe-Trading has never launched or authorized any “VIBE” token, memecoin, airdrop, presale, staking program, or token-gated product.

Vibe-Trading exists to advance open-source financial research, move the industry forward, and turn frontier research into useful, auditable insights. We will never launch a memecoin, ask our community to buy a token, or use our community as exit liquidity.

• Do not connect a wallet, sign a message, or claim an “airdrop.”
• Never disclose a seed phrase or private key.
