Unable to Load MKV File

Problem description: Unable to Load Miss Fishers Murder Mysteries S01E1-13 and How to Stay Married S01E1-8

Unable to load any of the episodes but was able to play the file in windows media player. I can hear audio in media player classic. Unable to play with VLC. windows media player that cam with win 10 play these mkv files just fine.

these are the files I downloaded and plan to convert. You can download just one episode to recreate the problem

I downloaded the latest VLC and still, handbrake unable to load any of these video files.
