QSV doesn't work on Linux Mint 21.1

Problem Description

Trying to use the H.265 QSV 2160p 4K profile on the Big Buck Bunny Sunflower 4K file and running into an issue where transcoding instantly fails. Using the official Flatpak with the QuickSync Plugin sourced from Flathub.

#4768 (comment) is probably your issue. You can try using lowpower=0 as an extra argument on the video tab.

If you can't get it working, feel free to comment on #4768
Some improvements in the works but ultimately, it's a little bit tricky on Linux to get going due to upstream limitations and requirements.
