Linux cell border style

Description

I'm using the QT HeidiSQL on Fedora 43 KDE with Breeze Dark

When you view data or run a query, the cell borders are a white dotted line. I can't see a place to change it from a dotted line to a solid line or being able to change the colour of the line. I know the colour maybe dictated by the KDE theme, but I find the dotted line makes it harder to read the cell values. If I could change the colour I'd want a grey colour. If you can change the Grid Text colours, maybe that could be a Grid border colour?

If you go to the Table editor tab, any of the tables in that tab have no borders

I also noticed in the Grid Formatting, the Maximum column width input box isn't wide enough. Maybe worth having all the inputs the same width for consistency.

Just for comparison reasons, both yours and a screeny from the Lazarus version running on Windows, zoomed at 400%. Same grid lines, but more subtle. Seems on QT they have white color everywhere, on Windows only the focused cell while unfocused cells have dark gray.
*Edit: Seems the Windows white dotted focus lines are additionally to the "normal" grid lines.

Yeah the selection is dotted but on the theme I use on Windows it's solid

Do you think the colour of the border is fixable? if it was dark gray then dotted would be ok I feel.

Looks like TLazVirtualStringTree has a Colors.GridLineColor which can be customized. On Windows that seems to work, anyway if on dark or light mode. Test with clGreen:

Will test if that works on Linux / QT too. If yes, we will need to care for light mode and dark mode. Gray will probably look ok in both modes, not sure.

Some good progress there, would be nice for it to be theme aware but if you could override it too in the Grid Formatting settings that would also be nice

I have set GridLineColor to a 50% black color, which should fit on both light and dark desktops. Unfortunately, my local QT build ignores that piece of color, still shows white dots. You may also test the new build from https://nightly.link/HeidiSQL/HeidiSQL/workflows/lazarus.yaml/lazarus
