How do I turn off floating keyboard

It's tiny now and I can't resize it and there's no way for me to x it out or anything, I'm stuck using the default GOS keyboard. I've tried force stop, disable, backup and restore. Do I just have to uninstall and reinstall? It took me ages to get it set up the way I like. Is there maybe a way to manually edit the backup file? I am desperate.

Okay so I fortunately still had 3.9 installed on my Owner profile, and I was able to back up the settings from there and use the Install Available Apps thing to get 3.9 installed on my main profile, then move the backup file to my messed up profile, and restore.

It's not perfect, it's missing some of my fine tunes, but it's usable.

Just in case anyone else has this issue.
