When turning caps lock, doesn't auto turn off.

As the title says, when caps lock is toggled on then I send a message I expect it to turn caps lock off automatically. Is there anything in the settings I'm missing out?

On my device caps lock turns off as soon as the keyboard is closed, otherwise it keeps the state.
Does the keyboard stay visible after sending a message?
