New settings interface

I've seen the new keyboard settings interface in some people's screenshots. I'm guessing that it is only for Android 12+. Will it also be available for users of older versions of Android?

It's just some different colors, if I remember correctly, maybe dependent on the dynamic colors (ping @BlackyHawky who implemented it)

I can confirm that the colors you've seen are only available for Android 12+, as they use colors from the device's color palette.
So it's not possible to have these colors for versions prior to Android 12 unless you create a theme for the settings. But I'm not sure there's any point in doing that... 🤔

Finally, I haven't modified the original colors except for those used when installing the application.

I think that modifying this interface makes sense, since there is already a new interface when installing HeliBoard. It's a bit strange to have two different interfaces. Besides, we have a new name, there will be a new icon soon, so it would be nice to have a new interface too 😁

Without adding the Material dependency (rejected by Helium), I don't see what you can do to improve the interface.
By the way, I don't know what you mean when you say "It's a bit strange to have two different interfaces", because the installation colors and the settings colors are consistent.

When you install Heliboard, nothing has changed from Openboard except the color of the windows, the color of the navigation bar and the color of the status bar; the dark theme also applies to the installation. On the whole, there are no major changes, but enough to be more accomplished.

You're right, they are the same. I thought they were darker when I installed HeliBoard.

I think the interface could be improved, for example by adding rounded windows, an AMOLED theme and changing the accent color. This is just a minor suggestion. If you or Helium don't want to change these things, I understand.

The ability to change the background color of the settings would be nice too. You know, light, dark, black. Currently, this cannot be changed without changing the phone's theme.
