Archaeologist | Geophysical Prospection Specialist | Remote Sensing Expert
Archaeologist with a PhD from the University of Bologna, specialized in the application and integration of non-invasive investigation methods (geophysics and remote sensing) and stratigraphic excavation for the study of ancient landscapes.
Currently research fellow at the Department of History, Cultures and Civilization (DiSCi) at the University of Bologna, coordinating integrated survey activities (SLAM and MMS Laser Scanner, photogrammetry, and GNSS) and GPR prospection at the Royal Park of Caserta, focused on reconstructing the Vanvitellian hydraulic network and heritage diagnostics.
Co-director of the QARA+CSK Project (Quarry Archaeological Risk Assessment + COSMO-SkyMed), in collaboration with the Italian Space Agency (ASI) and the National Research Council (CNR-ISPC), dedicated to the use of SAR and optical data for monitoring extractive risks in archaeological areas.
