The dicotomica function maps the points of a plane grid into a parabolic grid. Specifically, the function gets the indexes of this lattice point in the parabolic surface.
A good understandinig of the dicotomic function can be achieved by describing the input and output parameters:
The input parameters determine the properties of the grid (the lattice vectors, of the lattice point that we want to map in the parabolic grid are also indicated.
The ouput variable (of the type )) are provided.
