Zowe Explorer RSE vs ZOSMF

Hi,

we've been wanting to switch over to using only RSE instead of ZOSMF for a while.

However, we've noticed that RSE is significantly slower through the Zowe Explorer compared to ZOSMF, atleast for listing members in larger datasets.

We have datasets with 100k+ members, and when we do large.dataset(test*) as an example.

It takes RSE atleast 4-5 times longer to fetch the members compared to ZOSMF.

Similarly opening the members with the VSCode URI it also takes way longer to do compared to ZOSMF.

Is there any settings we can utilize to make it faster?

Using the Zowe CLI with RSE is the same speed or faster than ZOSMF so we've narrowed the issue down to being the Zowe Explorer/IBM Open Editor with RSE as the only problem.
