A completed backup is useful evidence, but the real test is whether the artifact can restore into the target environment your team expects to use.
Use this checklist for a first DBAegis Community evaluation.

Backup

Validate the recovered data
Do more than count rows or documents. Check representative records, required schemas or collections, indexes and constraints, ownership or permissions, and any extensions or features the application depends on.
Record the source and target, engine and client-tool versions, artifact identifier and size, backup and restore durations, validation queries and results, warnings, and any manual steps. That record becomes the baseline for the next drill.
Start with the Community quick start and verify the exact path in the backup and restore support matrix.
If you try the workflow, please share the engine you tested, the friction you encountered, and what evidence your team would need before trusting the result. Use non-production data and a disposable target for the first drill.
