Hi! So I'm assuming that you are referring to the new color led deck? It might be so new that it is not supported yet in crazyswarm2 (or at least tested out) However, if your crazyflie is updated to latest firmware 2025.12.1 and if you are using the latest of the cflib 0.1.31 (if you are using the cflib backend), I don't see why it shouldn't be controllable from parameters as the bitcraze tutorial describes here You should be able to change the LEDS parameters in the yaml file by following the instructions: https://imrclab.github.io/crazyswarm2/usage.html#crazyflies-yaml. Also it should be possible to set the ROS2 parameters either from the crazyswarm scripting or setting the ros2 parameters directly using the ros2 cli, as those are mapped by crazyswarm2 to crazyflie parameters and visa versa. Let us know if this works, but I think it should al be possible to work with from crazyswarm2. If not, this is worth making a bug ticket for investigation. |
Uh oh!

Hi everyone,
I am using CrazySwarm2 for my project and can fly different formations with them. But now I have a problem with using the Color LED deck in the project. The LEDs work very well with cfclient, but they do not work with Crazyswarm2.
I wonder if it is possible to use LED directly in Crazyswarm2 or if I should write a separate python script specifically for LED and add it to my project (then it is not as flexible as using Crazyswarm2).
Thanks in advance for your help.
Best Regards,
Adrian
