Installed CDF libraries not accessible on Achim's PC (Ubuntu)

Achim has installed CDF on his PC, but the DataCheck1s applciation is unable to find it. The conversion to CDF option returns an error, saying that the native libraries (.so files) are not found in java.library.path. The libraries are present on LD_LIBRARY_PATH.

The problem was that NetBeans is ignoring LD_LIBRARY_PATH and doesn't find the shared library (*.so file) for the CDF JNI routines. For now, the problem is solved by copying the necessary libraries to /usr/lib (part of the standard search path). Same was true for cdfdump which has to be copied to /usr/bin.
