#4582 fixes part of the problem with 2 process history saving, but if a file by that name already exists, we get an EOFError instead of a prompt for some reason, before the client is even able to respond.
If someone (@minrk or @takluyver) give me a way forward, I can add this as part of #4582, or just make a PR to my repo against that branch.
