Challenge

Which of the 22 garden butterfly species declined the most over 2007-2020, and did the declines cluster in particular years (e.g. after a bad summer)?

• Where to start: Load the abundance-index CSV. Plot the index over time for a handful of species; then rank all species by their overall trend (start vs. end, or a fitted slope).
• What to share: A trend ranking plus a time-series plot of the biggest winners and losers.
