@MayaKirova IMO, this just fixes the case where you click on a single cell. However, the original issue was that Clicking with the Left Mouse key while holding CTRL key will add single cell ranges into the selected cells collection. does not do anything.

Ctrl + Click also works for me. It adds the individual cells to the grid on the right:

ctrl+click

Does it not work on Mac?
