This is the (intended) last ever maintenance release from the pyrealm version 1.0 branch. With the release of 2.0.0, the API and internals of the package have changed substantially and this release is purely to add clear documentation to show that packages on the 1.0 branch should be considered obsolete.

The v1.0.1 release:

  • Moves the 1.0 branch sphinx code up to use the version_selector option, allowing more recent and stable versions to be found from the 1.0 docs.
  • Updates the page template for the whole 1.0 docs site to include a prominent banner advising users move over to stable
  • Adds a similar note to the README, which will be displayed on PyPI
  • Updates the QA workflows to pass checks in the publication workflow.
