GUI bug when background fetch is enabled

Reproduce
If I'm recalling correctly this happened while opening the app to check for updates

1. Enable background update check
2. open app (app fetches latest info from repos)
3. new update found for app X
4. Update app X
5. GUI tells you there is 0% progress made while at the same time you get a notifications which tells you the apps been updated

Expected behavior
I'd expect the GUI to count up the percentage points just like it did before I enabled the option to fetch updates in the background.

This means there was already a background update job in progress - it just happened to run around the same time that you tapped update. The background and foreground processes are separate so this can happen sometimes.

I'm not sure it's worth fixing given that it would be not be a small change to make.

I suspected as much, just figured opening and closing the app would get the ui to sync up, but it didn't.

It's not a big deal, if it's a shitton of work just leave it for a rainy day.
