IndieNexus Research Repository

This repository contains foundational research, technical specifications, and strategic analysis supporting the IndieNexus MVP proposal for Cardano Catalyst Fund15.

📄 Documentation Files

01-Technical-Architecture-Brief.md

System architecture and technical implementation plan

Details the end-to-end technical stack, including OAuth wallet derivation, NMKR API integration, browser gaming infrastructure, and merit-based governance. Includes architecture flow diagrams and explains why Cardano + NMKR is the optimal combination for this use case.

02-MVP-Scope-Document.md

Strict boundaries for Phase 1 delivery (Months 1-9)

Defines what is IN scope (browser storefront, SDK v1.0, 5-7 games, pre-token governance) vs. OUT of scope (IPFS, $INDIE token, mobile apps). Sets clear MVP success criteria and explains the rationale for a focused 9-month delivery window.

03-Market-Validation-Summary.md

Evidence-based market opportunity analysis

Quantifies the indie developer pain points (30% fees, 0% royalties), validates Web3 gaming gaps (complexity, no FIAT), and benchmarks against itch.io, Steam, and Immutable X. Provides conservative user adoption projections based on comparable platforms.

04-Ecosystem-Research-Differentiation.md

Competitive analysis proving uniqueness

Maps funded Cardano projects (jpg.store, Paima Engine, Unreal Plugin) against IndieNexus features, demonstrating that we fill the "missing middleware" gap. Provides on-chain evidence of our self-funded backend and Fund12 SDK to prove activation of prior work.

📌 How to Use This Repository

For Catalyst Reviewers: These documents provide auditable evidence that IndieNexus is past the "idea stage" with validated designs, technical diagrams, and market research—as required by the "Cardano Use Cases: Prototype & Launch" category.

For Developers: The architecture brief and scope document will guide your integration once the SDK is live. All code referenced here is MIT-licensed and available in our main repositories.

For Community: Track our progress via Milestone reports (to be posted here monthly) and verify on-chain metrics using the transaction analysis frameworks defined in these docs.

All documents are living drafts and will be updated as the project evolves.
